Serbian–Hungarian Experts’ Meeting in Budapest

Heading a delegation, Colonel Nebojša Svjetlica, Head of the Serbian Ministry of Defence Department for International Military Cooperation visited Hungary at the invitation of Colonel Albert Gróf, Head of the MoD Department for International Cooperation from 21 to 22 March. The goals of the Serbian–Hungarian experts’ meeting were to discuss military-to-military cooperation and to sign the Serbian–Hungarian Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan 2024.

Within the framework of the official program, Colonel Svjetlica was also received by László Hajnik, MoD Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy. During the meeting, they reaffirmed that the Serbian–Hungarian bilateral defence and military cooperation is outstandingly intensive and is characterized by an exceptionally high-quality relationship system.

During the experts’ meeting, the parties reviewed the main results of the recent past and the priorities of the upcoming period, as well as the programs planned for 2024, and then they signed the Serbian–Hungarian Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan 2024.
