Hungarian Air Force evacuates another 105 people from Israel
Text: Ferenc Antal | Photo: Szebáld Szakál | 10:41 October 16, 2023Carrying 105 people evacuated from Tel Aviv aboard, the Airbus A319 transport aircraft of the Hungarian Defence Forces landed at Liszt Ferenc International Airport, Budapest some minutes after 20:00 on Friday, 13 October.
Altogether 89 Hungarian and 16 foreign citizens had been travelling on the evacuation flight, and they were able to arrive home safe and sound from Israel with the assistance of the government of Hungary.
As it is known, last Saturday the Hamas terrorist organization carried out a coordinated terror attack, firing thousands of rockets from the Gaza Strip into the area of Israel. In response, the Israeli air force launched a massive air strike on Palestine-controlled Gaza in the past few days.
