Deputy Chief of HDF General Staff receives Indian defence attaché

At the meeting, Lieutenant General Zsolt Sándor said that Hungary considers India its strategic partner, and our country is committed to the overall development of our relations with India and to the deepening of friendship between the two nations. The deputy chief of the HDF General Staff pointed out that beyond the traditional economic, commercial and personal relationships, we also seek to develop close cooperation in issues of foreign and security policy as well as the human resource development and modernization issues of the armed forces, both bilaterally and multilaterally.

The lieutenant general emphasized that the traditional friendly relations between the two countries based on shared values, democratic principles and mutual interests, are free of any disputed issues and provide a solid framework for our bilateral engagement and cooperation in international forums.
